Weston McIntire scored the other touchdown for the Badgers and caught a pass from Collin Bowen for a two-point conversion.

Bowen also completed a twopoint conversion pass to Brady Robinson.

Defensively, the team was led by Kelton Estes, Blake Graham, Trent Holloman and Laine Wiggins, according to LMS coach Jerry Davis.

The seventh-grade White team won a defensive battle 6-0 with Steffin McCarter recording the game's lone score, a 57-yard touchdown run.

Lampasas' defensive leaders included Dylan Dulkosky, Daniel Gonzalez, Chris McGehee, Cory Winchell and Eric O'Neal

The Badgers' eighth-grade Blue squad won 14-6 as Cody Jandrue posted a pair of touchdown runs (50 and 28 yards) and recovered a fumble on defense. Lynn Ledford caused the loose ball.

The team also had two interceptions thanks to Chase Birck and Chism Carpenter.

"[We] controlled the ball with two long drives and played lights out on defense," head coach Jim Burks said.

The eighth-grade White team earned a 6-0 shutout victory.

The seventh- and eighth-grade Gray teams combined forces and won 16-6.

Charles Stewart crossed the goal line twice in the contest, and Seth Hein recorded a pair of two-point conversions.

All LMS Badger teams have an open week this week, but return to action against Lake Travis next week. The seventh-graders play on Sept. 28, and the eighth-graders play on Sept. 29.
