FFA holds membership meeting, meal

Over 185 FFA members and guests had an evening of good food, fellowship and orientation at the Lampasas FFA Membership and Potluck meal held recently at the Lampasas High School cafeteria.

FFA officers and advisers greeted new students and parents and provided information on the annual program of work and activities slated for the 2009-2010 year.

New and old members paid their annual junior and senior FFA dues, ordered caps and custom T-shirts and heard about important dates related to stock shows and validations.

Members and parents ate a variety of meat products from Seitz Meat Co. -- the company FFA uses to raise funds -- as well as side dishes and other items brought by family members.
