Elizabeth Vasquez, 50, of Cameron, formerly of Oakwood, Ga., died Sept. 15, 2009, at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple.

Visitation was held Sept. 19, after which the body was cremated.

Mrs. Vasquez was born Feb. 1, 1959, in Lampasas, the daughter of Cipriano Aguirre and Julia Cardona.

She had been a resident of Oakwood for many years before moving to Cameron a year ago.

She was married to Guillermo Vasquez and was a Catholic.

Survivors include her husband of Cameron; four daughters, Christina Ruiz, Veronica Vasquez, Barbara Vasquez and Susan Vasquez, all of Georgia; her mother, Julia Salas of Lampasas; a brother, Daniel Aguirre of Lampasas; and a sister, Diane Aguirre of Lampasas.

She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Thomas Aguirre; and a sister, Olivia Aguirre.
