Winnie Faye Arnett, 88, of Evant died Sept. 15, 2009, at Hamilton General Hospital in Hamilton.

Funeral services are Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Burial will be at Murphree Cemetery at Evant. Visitation is Sept. 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Arnett was born Feb. 10, 1921, in Fairy, the daughter of Robert and Myrtle Dunn Perry.

She married W.C. "Tink" Arnett on Jan. 4, 1941, in Brownwood.

Mrs. Arnett had lived in Evant for more than 45 years where she was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Arnett of Cedar Creek; a daughter, Linda Hardman and husband, Don, of Lampasas; a brother, Bob Perry of Lipan; sisters, Oleta Wallace and Wanda Burns of Bedford, Mary Young of Kennedale and Margene Soulard of Longview; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
