Rivera-Farish Maria Anabell Rivera of Lampasas and Benjamin Edwin Farish of Raleigh, N.C., plan to exchange wedding vows in a Sept. 26, 2009, ceremony at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lampasas.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Luis and Ramona Rivera of Lampasas.

She is a 2003 Lampasas High School graduate. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology with teacher certification from St. Mary's University in San Antonio.

Miss Rivera taught biology and chemistry at Lampasas High School until her planned move to North Carolina.

Mr. Farish is the son of Walker and Kiki Farish of Raleigh.

He earned a bachelor of science degree in economics with a minor in international business from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.

The bridegroom-elect received his law degree (juris doctorate) from St. Mary's University in San Antonio. He will work at Spence & Spence Law Firm in Smithfield, N.C.
