Jail sentence handed down

In recent 27th District Court action, Stanley Lee Butts, 57, of Belton received a 10-month state jail sentence for endangering a child. He also was ordered to pay court costs of $215.

A warrant was issued for Joann Michel Jowers, 49, of Lampasas when she failed to show up for court on a charge of forgery. Bond was increased to $20,000.

Melissa Sullivan, 45, of Odessa faces a review today on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

For aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Terry Jay Holder, 45, of Burnet is set for a Sept. 18 pretrial hearing.

On a charge of forgery of a financial instrument, 28-year-old Ann Rockwall Evans is set for a Sept. 18 pretrial hearing.

An Oct. 9 pretrial hearing is on the docket for Adam Blake Hobill, 30, of Copperas Cove for driving while intoxicated, third or more.

Hobill also faces a motion to revoke hearing the same day for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.

Adan Salinas, 38, of Lampasas has an Oct. 16 pretrial hearing for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

A hearing for admission to a substance abuse program is scheduled Oct. 16 for Lampasas resident Alfonzo Romeo Billings, 20. He is charged with burglary of a habitation.

On a charge of driving while intoxicated and felony repetition, David Michael Hayes, 59, is set for a Nov. 16 trial.

A charge of criminal mischief over $1,500 and under $20,000 was punished as a Class A misdemeanor against Jason Randle Harris, 23, of Lampasas. He was ordered to pay a fine and court costs.
