Funeral services for Norma Lea Sharp Blair, 75, of Paige are Aug. 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Blair died Aug. 25 at St. David's Hospital in Austin.

She was born June 1, 1934, in Brady, the daughter of Henry J. and Leafie Jane Cox Sharp.

Mrs. Blair attended and graduated from the registered nursing program at Odessa College. She worked as a registered nurse for 47 years in various hospitals. She retired from nursing and moved to Paige where she joined the Riverside Bible Fellowship.

Mrs. Blair was a gospel singer most of her life.

Survivors include a daughter and husband, Vickie and Alvin Deland of Paige; a son and wife, Randy and Shonda Norton of McKinney; a brother and wife, Henry (Hank) E. and Juanita Sharp of Lampasas; five grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and three greatgreat grandchildren.
