A Harker Heights man received a 12-year sentence in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division during recent action in Judge Joe Carroll's 27th District Courtroom.

James David White, 39, was given the sentence for possession/ transport of a chemical with intent to manufacture a controlled substance.

On a charge of possession of a controlled substance under one gram, Adrian Rodriguez Mayo, 31, of Lampasas was assessed 10 years in the TDC.

Willie Hampton Bell, 48, of Kempner was sentenced to three years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition. He received an additional 10 months in state jail for theft over $1,500 and under $20,000.

Douglas Lynn McGuffey, 23, of Marble Falls was given 12 months in state jail for possession of a controlled substance. He also must pay $209 in court costs.

On a charge of driving while intoxicated and felony repetition, Clay Cory Havins, 42, of Lampasas was given six years in the TDC, probated to six years, plus a $600 fine.

Robert Allen Rossiter, 50, of Copperas Cove had his five-year TDC sentence probated to five years and received a $750 fine for failure to register as a sex offender. He also must attend a substance abuse felony program.

Francisco Mendoza Jr., 23, was given three years' deferred probation and a 90-day curfew for indecency with a child, exposure. He was ordered to pay court costs.

A warrant was issued for Christopher Manuel Durham, 27, of Killeen when he failed to show up for court on a charge of burglary of a habitation.

Charged with burglary of a building, 27-year-old Lometa resident Johnny Lee Fletcher received four years' probation and a $1,000 fine.

Gary Wendell Welch, 56, is to enter a plea today for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.

A Monday jury trial is on tap for Jason Randle Harris, 23, of Lampasas for criminal mischief over $1,500 and under $20,000.

On a charge of forgery of a financial instrument, Ronald Allen Bascom, 62, of Cherokee is set for a formal arraignment Aug. 28.

A Sept. 4 revocation hearing is on the docket for David Michael Hayes, 59, for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition. He also faces pretrial hearings for indecency with a child, sexual contact and for aggravated sexual assault.

Stanley Lee Butts, 57, of Belton faces a Sept. 4 pretrial hearing for endangering a child.

A motion to adjudicate hearing is slated Sept. 4 for Ali Hussein Ibrahim, 20, of Kempner for graffiti.

Pretrials also are set Sept. 4 for Ann Rockwall Evans, 28, for forgery of a financial instrument; Christopher Robbi Zarrilla, 32, of Copperas Cove for driving while intoxicated, third or more; Brandon Keith Beauchamp, 23, for intoxicated assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury; Jose Felix Ortiz, 45, for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition; Lorenzo Martinez Mejia Jr., 51, for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age; and Roxanne Marie Henderson, 21, of Lampasas for harassment of a public servant.

Peggy Renelle Mixon, 38, of Lometa faces a Sept. 11 pretrial for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age.

A Sept. 11 arraignment is set for Norberto Perez Carranza, 49, of Lometa. He is charged with driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.

A motion to revoke hearing is scheduled Sept. 18 for 28-year-old George B. Johnston IV for criminal mischief over $750.

Pleas are expected to be entered Sept. 18 by Bobbie Kay Green, 44, of Fort Worth for theft over $1,500 and under $20,000, and Dinah Louise Davis, 45, of Lampasas for possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

Rachel Ann Byrd, 33, of Copperas Cove is set for punishment Sept. 18 for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

A Sept. 18 pretrial hearing is on tap for Jason Matthew Johnson, 25, of Liberty Hill on a charge of aggravated sexual assault.

William Matsu Karcher, 44, of Lampasas is set for an Oct. 2 trial before the judge. He is charged with indecency with a child, exposure.

A punishment hearing is on the Oct. 2 docket for Leroy Williamson, 54, on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Frankie Lee Felan, 19, of Lampasas is set to enter pleas on Oct. 9 for burglary of a habitation and robbery.

Jury trials are scheduled Oct. 26 for Danny Lee Hurt, 47, of Lampasas for indecency with a child, sexual contact, and for Harker Heights resident Blake Alan Tennimon, 22, charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.
