Central Texas College's walk-in registration for new and returning students for the fall 2009 semester begins Monday at the Student Services building 119, based on the last four digits of the student's Social Security number.

Registration is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8-11 a.m. on Fridays. Students also may seek counseling, academic advising and other enrollment services during these hours.

Students should consult the registration schedule on the CTC Web site for their appropriate registration day and time. Click either the "current student" or "prospective student" link, then click the "class schedule" link on the left-hand side of the page. From there, click the "fall 2009" link under Central Campus to access the schedule. The registration schedule is on page 6.

Walk-in registration will continue through Aug. 28, and classes begin Aug. 31. Late registration is Aug. 31 to Sept. 3. A $10 late fee will apply.

Registration for online classes continues through Aug. 27 on the WebAdvisor link on the CTC Web site.

New student orientation is Aug. 28 at 9 a.m. in the Nursing and Science building 150, room 1075, and again Sept. 4. All new students are encouraged to attend one of the sessions and learn about the campus, policies and procedures and the many available student services. To sign up, call (254) 526-1258.
