The Lometa Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the school library for a presentation of the proposed budget and tax rate for 2009-10.

Also, trustees will be given a district safety report, and consider an adjunct faculty member.

Other agenda items include discussion of insurance proposals for Worker's Compensation, auto liability, auto physical damage, crime, general liability, property and legal liability.

They also will discuss a loan for football lights.

Reports from the principal and superintendent, as well as curriculum and special programs reports also are on the agenda.

Future meeting dates will be discussed.
