Annie Straley Annie Straley celebrated her 98th birthday with a party at Yumm Factory on Aug. 8.

Mrs. Straley was born Aug. 9, 1911, in Mt. Vernon, Texas, and moved to Lampasas County in 1931. She married Albert Straley.

Mrs. Straley has 12 children, 30 grandchildren, 57 greatgrandchildren and three greatgreat grandchildren.

She is a retired nurse's aide, and enjoys watching all the animals from her back porch.
