The American Red Cross blood drive held Monday, sponsored by AMVETS Post 80, exceeded its quota. The 72 donors who registered donated 60 pints of blood.

"This will save 160 lives," blood drive coordinator Wanda Meyers said.

Mrs. Meyers thanked all the donors and volunteers who assisted with the blood drive.
