James H. Berry, 92, of Lampasas died Aug. 3, 2009, at Rollins Brook Community Hospital. Graveside services were Aug. 5 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Mr. Berry was born Nov. 6, 1916, in Lampasas, the son of H.T. Berry and Victoria Garner Berry. He attended local schools, where he excelled in athletics. More...

The office of the Lometa Independent School District has released a list of supplies for the 2009-2010 school year for grades prekindergarten through 5. The first day of the school year is Aug. 24.
