Irvin-Beaty Paul and Chandra Irvin of Marble Falls announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenna, to Andrew Beaty of Allen, the son of Charles and Liz Beaty of Allen.

Miss Irvin is the granddaughter of the late Harrell and Kathryn Irvin of Lampasas, and retired CW4 John and Lynda Roden of Killeen.

The couple plan a Sept. 19, 2009, wedding ceremony at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay.

Miss Irvin is a spring 2009 graduate of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville where she earned a bachelor of science in psychology.

She will continue her education in the fall at the University of Texas at Arlington to pursue a degree as a nurse practitioner.

Mr. Beaty graduated from Texas A&M University in spring 2009 with a bachelor of science in construction science.

He was recently commissioned as a second lieutenant in the 284th Engineer Company, U.S. Army Reserves.

The prospective bridegroom is employed by Thos. S. Byrne Ltd., a commercial construction company in Fort Worth.
