Funeral services were Aug. 3, 2009, at Sheppard Chapel of Memories in Copperas Cove for 66- year-old Cinda Lou Haisler of Kempner. She died July 30 at her residence.

Interment will take place at a later date at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Born May 18, 1943, in Houston, she was the daughter of John William Burden and Lucinda Veronica Grady Burden.

She married William Arnold Haisler Jr. on April 11, 1964, in Houston.

Mrs. Haisler was a Catholic and had been secretary for Shine Brothers in Copperas Cove. She also was a longtime member of the American Business Women's Association.

She is survived by daughters Charlotte Renee Sakallah and husband Nageeb of Dickinson, and Cheryl Elise Haisler-Blankenship and husband John of Georgetown; a son, William A. Haisler III and wife Michele of Copperas Cove; grandchildren David Finberg, Jason Finberg, Sasha Slysh, Chace Blankenship and Amelia Blankenship; one sister, Annette Vise of Gilmer; and a brother, John William Burden Jr. of Killeen.

Mrs. Haisler was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 31, 2008, and by her parents.
