A mural recently completed by Vision Downtown Lampasas! volunteers on a side wall of Lampasas Hardware & Contractor Supply shows several generations of businesses that have occupied the location at Western and Second streets. Home to the Texas Trading Co. in the late 19th century, the building also has housed Lampasas Bowl, Western Auto and Love Brothers Motor Co. The Second Street mural follows a VDL project completed last fall, an assortment of boots painted on the wall of Jerry Goodson Surveying on Western Street.
