With the opponents ranging from U-14 to U-18 teams, Lampasas lost all four of its contests, including three shutouts, in the high school round-robin tournament.
The Badgers opened play against the Tri-County U-17 club based out of LaGrange. Errors proved to be the team's downfall as it committed three before falling 7-0.
Despite the loss, Lampasas had a good showing on the mound, allowing only six hits and giving up just three earned runs behind Justin Sooter's and Mason Tabor's pitching performances.
In the second contest, errors again cost the club as the Badgers fell by 10 runs in a shutout loss to San Marcos' U-14 team. Lampasas committed six errors leading to five unearned runs in the third inning.
The Badgers then faced Hardball U, a U-16 team out of San Antonio and lost 14-0 after falling behind 7- 0 in the first inning.
In the final game, Lampasas had a rematch with San Marcos. The Badgers scored the game's opening run before their opponents responded with five runs in the bottom of the first en route to winning 6-2.
Bryce Perkins led the team offensively with four hits and one RBI during the tournament. Tyler Baldwin recorded three singles and a double.
