Frank Scott Hedges, 47, was sentenced to two years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. The action came during recent 27th District Court proceedings.

Hedges was credited with time served.

On a charge of possession of a controlled substancecocaine, Harker Heights resident Shaun Keone Spencer, 20, was given six months in state jail and credited with 82 days served.

Lampasas resident Bryan Allen Hill, 26, was given five years' deferred adjudication probation and a $1,000 fine for sexual assault of a child.

For driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age, Maria Olga Martinez, 36, of Lometa received three years' probation and a $1,000 fine. She also was ordered to pay court costs.

Jury trials Monday are set for Theodore Patrick Aleman, 19, of Lampasas for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury; Justin Allen Clark, 23, of Lampasas for burglary of a building; and Richard Dean Kercheff, 52, for theft of wire cable.

Antonio Padilla, 32, of Springlake is to enter a plea Aug. 2 for possession of a controlled substance over four grams and under 200 grams.

George B. Johnston IV, 28, is slated for an Aug. 14 review on a charge of criminal mischief over $750.

Also on the Aug. 14 docket is an adjudication hearing for Fredrick Lionel Miller, 51, of San Angelo for burglary of a habitation.

Revocation hearings are scheduled Aug. 14 for Jay R. Bagley, 24, of Copperas Cove for burglary of a habitation, and for Douglas Lynn McGuffey, 23, of Marble Falls for possession of a controlled substance. McGuffey was remanded to jail without bond for testing intoxicated at a hearing last week.

Aug. 14 pretrial hearings are set for Danny Lee Hurt, 47, of Lampasas for indecency with a child, sexual contact; Blake Alan Tennimon, 22, of Harker Heights for engaging in organized criminal activity; and Steven Joseph Johnson, 26, for three counts of burglary of a building. The Lampasas man's bond was lowered to $7,500 on each charge.

Arraignments are slated Aug. 14 for Peggy Renelle Mixon, 38, of Lometa for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age; Roxanne Marie Henderson, 21, of Lampasas for harassment of a public servant; and Ronald Allen Bascom, 62, of Cherokee for forgery of a financial instrument.

An Aug. 14 punishment hearing is scheduled for Clay Cory Havins, 42, of Lampasas for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.

Pretrial is scheduled Aug. 21 for Samuel Eric Aguirre, 32, of Round Rock. He is charged with driving while intoxicated, third or more.

An Aug. 24 jury trial is set for 26-year-old James David Ferguson for aggravated sexual assault of a child.

William Drew Landers, 18, of Lampasas is expected to enter a plea and receive punishment on Aug. 21 for burglary of a habitation and robbery.

A pretrial hearing is set Sept. 4 for Blanca Azuncena Cerda, 33, of Lampasas for engaging in organized criminal activity-conspiracy. Her jury trial has been scheduled for Oct. 26.

A Sept. 11 punishment hearing is slated for Landon William Dalton, 18, of Lampasas for burglary of a habitation.

For driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age, Nicole Elizabeth Brinkley, 25, of Lampasas is set to enter a plea on Sept. 11.

James Benedict Abell, 42, of Lometa has a trial before the judge on Sept. 18 for terroristic threat of family/ household.

For three counts of burglary of a building, Christopher Brian Herbold, 25, of Seguin is set to enter a plea Sept. 18.

Benjamin Guevera Ramirez, 27, is to enter a plea Sept. 18 for sexual assault of a child.

Jury trials on the Sept. 28 docket are for Dorothy Amanda Brown, 39, of Florence for possession/transport of a chemical with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, and Shane Edward Johnson, 22, of Lampasas for endangering a child.

Kempner resident John Thomas Allen, 48, faces an Oct. 26 jury trial for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
