A walking stick that appeared at Boone RV Park on Monday quickly became a topic of conversation at the business. Walking sticks in Texas often reach four inches in length -- although one species can grow as long as seven inches -- and feed on the leaves of several types of trees, including oaks and pecans, according to the Texas A&M University Department of Entomology.
