Lometa rodeo parade is successful event
The Lometa Rodeo Parade was a successful "comeback" event, organized by Terri Harris and Lisa Van Natta.
There were 50 entries with several consisting of more than one vehicle, horse and/or motorcycle.
Judges were Lanetta Sprott, Tammy Roberts and Jill Jones.
Grand marshal was T.A. Head.
Entries and awards were given as follows.

1. Crime Stoppers, Marble Falls. 2. Pair O'Dice Stables, Lometa. 3. Crossroad Country Cowboy Church, Goldthwaite.
Best dressed cowboy Alex Marnoni.
Best dressed cowgirl Taryn Morris.
Oldest rider Robert Butler.
Youngest rider Ashley Kinateder.

Following the parade, Branden Benningfield and the Crossroads Cowboy Church provided music while the FFA served barbecue at Lometa Regional Park.
The FFA Rodeo finished out the festivities, headed up by Brad Barnett and Jamie Smart, with assistance from the Lometa FFA.
The parade was sponsored by the Lampasas County Rodeo Association.
