Nadyne Reavis Anna Nadyne Reavis, 94, of Lampasas died July 20, 2009, at Regal Nursing & Rehab.
Funeral services were July 23 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial was at Gillum Cemetery at Oakalla.
Mrs. Reavis was born June 27, 1915, in Bell County, the daughter of Lee and Kate Tolliver.
She was born in the Okay Community that is now Gray Air Force Base. She is one of the last pioneers of that community who knew where everyone lived and where the stores were.
She married Cecil Reavis on Oct. 26, 1934, in Oakalla, where they lived for many years before moving to Izoro.
Mrs. Reavis retired from Fort Hood as a supply clerk with 20 years of service.
She was an active member of Pearl Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and had been all over the world.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Decil Ray and Billie Dean Reavis of Izoro; two granddaughters and their husbands, Angela Jean and Jeff Rainwater of Lampasas and Kathy Dean and Danny Selph of San Angelo; four great-grandchildren, Tamara Jean Rainwater of College Station, Justin Rainwater of Lampasas, and Brittany Lee Selph and Garrett Dean Selph, both of San Angelo.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and a brother and his wife, Noel and Emma Tolliver.
