Over 100 kids recently took part in the "Let's Go Camping" event at W.M. Brook Park. The event was put on by the Lampasas Parks Department as an addition to the 2009 KidFish program. Thanks to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Sulphur Creek was stocked with 500 catfish measuring at least 12 inches apiece, and kids competed to see who could reel in the biggest catch.
