Mrs. Jones
Ann Faubion Jones, 66, of Spicewood died July 6, 2009, in Burnet.
Funeral services are July 10 at 10 a.m. at Edgar Funeral Home in Marble Falls with burial to follow at Fowler Cemetery near Spicewood.
Mrs. Jones was born Oct. 4, 1942, in Austin, to Forrest (Jack) and Evelyn (Midge) Faubion. Her early childhood years were spent in Evant, Lampasas and the Spicewood area.
She was married to Lucius Jones for 47 years.
Mrs. Jones was an administrative assistant for the Chilton Independent School District for more than 30 years. After her retirement, the Joneses moved to the Faubion ranch in Spicewood where they enjoyed raising cows and goats.
She also was an avid deer hunter.
Survivors include her husband of Spicewood; a son and his wife, Tim and Eleanor Jones of Spring; three grandchildren, Trent Jones, Tori Jones and Sophia Jones; her mother of Marble Falls; a brother and his wife, Jim and Doris Faubion of San Marcos; her mother-in-law, Lorena Jones of Lampasas; a sister-in-law, Nita Dugger and husband, Phil, of Lampasas; an aunt; and a nephew, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steve Jones, and her father-inlaw, G.B. Jones.
