Heather Smith Heather Ann Smith of Lampasas died June 30, 2009, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Hamilton. She was 18.

Funeral services are July 7 at 4 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with Pastor Maggie McKinley officiating. The body will be cremated following the service.

Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 2, 1990, in Mexia, the daughter of Monte Schmidt and Christina Terry.

She married Raymond Smith on Aug. 8, 2008.

Mrs. Smith grew up in the Central Texas area and attended local schools, where she enjoyed participating in choir.

She was a homemaker and was soon to be a mother.

Survivors include her husband of Lampasas; her mother, Christina Bernard of Colorado; her father of Copperas Cove; a brother, Dalton Schmidt of Colorado; her motherand father-in-law, Karen and Eugene Smith of Lampasas; grandparents, Lawrence and Shirley Terry of Mexia, and Joan Schmidt of Waco; two stepsisters, Rebecca Bernard and Christie Bernard, both of Oklahoma; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in law, Casey and Tara Smith of Lampasas, and Mark and Stacy Berg of Gatesville.

A fund has been established at The National Banks in Mrs. Smith's name.
