Badgers wrap up 7-on-7 season
      The varsity Badgers went 1-12 during their five-week stint in the Hill Country Passing League, but that does not mean the 7-on-7 season was unsuccessful. After losing the final three contests last Tuesday evening, Lampasas head football coach Joey McQueen was disappointed at the lack of victories, but he was certain his team accomplished a lot.

      Having been in education for 28 years, I tend to collect ideas and information from different sources. One source I will use today is from the National Guard, where they, along with the National Football League, have developed a High School Player Development Program.

      Some of James Banks II's earliest memories are of fishing with his dad. While other kids were getting in the last few hours of shuteye before awaking for Saturday morning cartoons, Banks was being taught the art of the cast.

      LMS FOOTBALL Equipment hand-out for eighth-grade players will be on Aug. 20 from 4-8 p.m. and on Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to noon for all seventh-graders. Practice begins on Aug. 24 from 6:50-7:50 a.m. for seventh-graders, while eighthgraders' practice sessions begin shortly after the school day ends and last until 5:30 p.m.
