The 2009 Women's Retreat is Aug. 7-9 to be co-hosted by New Jerusalem Ministries of Faith, 1011 Bridge St.

Events Aug. 7 and Aug. 8 will be held at the Holiday House with the morning sessions at 10 a.m., and evening service at 7 p.m.

Aug. 9 events begin at 11 a.m. at the church with a skit.

A fund-raising barbecue dinner will be held to defray costs of the retreat. Dinner plates with all the trimmings will be sold July 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Bennie Burton Sr. will be cooking the barbecue.

The public is invited.
