Johnnie Swinney Johnnie Glen Swinney, 63, of Lometa died June 30, 2009, at Temple Living Center.

Funeral services were July 2 at Lometa United Methodist Church with Pastor Celia Kitchens officiating. Burial was at Lometa City Cemetery.

Mr. Swinney was born Dec. 22, 1945, in Lampasas, the son of Raymond A. and Lauisia Evans Swinney.

He grew up in Lometa where he graduated from high school.

Mr. Swinney worked at the wool and mohair warehouse in Lometa, ran a store there, and hauled pipe.

He was a member of Lometa United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Jerry Swinney of Lampasas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to Lometa United Methodist Church Prayer Garden Fund.
