27th District Court
In the 27th District Courtroom of Judge Joe Carroll, Juan Soto- Sanchez, 39, of Lampasas was sentenced to 10 months in the Texas Department of Corrections for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age.
In other court action, Gregory Scott Walker, 45, of Lampasas was sentenced to four years' deferred adjudication probation and six months in the Lampasas County Jail under a work-release program. He also must pay a $1,000 fine. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
For possession of a controlled substance, Lampasan Calvin Ray Pavey, 20, was given four years' deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine. He also was ordered to attend a Substance Abuse Felony Program.
For burglary of a building, Pavey was ordered to spend 60 days in the Lampasas County Jail and was credited with 10 days' time served.
Leroy Williamson, 54, is set for a July 31 trial before the judge for aggravated sexual assault of a child.
A Monday jury trial is on the docket for Mineral Wells resident Darwin Lee Glover, 25, for possession of a controlled substance.
James David White, 39, of Harker Heights is set for a June 19 pretrial hearing for possession/ transport of a chemical with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, as is Edd E. Lefevre, 52, charged with driving while intoxicated, third or more.
Arraignment is slated June 19 for Steven Joseph Johnson, 26, for three counts of burglary of a building.
John Randall Craddock, 18, of Lampasas faces a June 26 punishment hearing for burglary of a habitation.
Pleas are to be entered June 26 by Daniel Caleb Gerhart, 21, of Lampasas for burglary of a building; David Scott Barczi, 31, of Lampasas for harassment of a public servant; and Curry Lester Batiste, 26, of Lampasas for burglary of a building and burglary of a habitation with intent to commit sexual assault.
On a charge of sexual assault of a child, 25-year-old Bryan Allen Hill of Lampasas is to receive punishment on July 17.
Charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, James David Ferguson, 26, is slated for a July 27 jury trial.
Jury trials are set Aug. 24 for Jason Randle Harris, 23, of Lampasas for criminal mischief over $1,500 and under $20,000, and for Kimberli Uranga, 22, of Lampasas for theft over $1,500 and under $20,000.
