Dr. Mark Bumpus Pearl Baptist Church will celebrate its 125th anniversary on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Special guest speaker will be Dr. Mark Bumpus.

Pearl Baptist Church -- with less than 100 members -- was Bumpus' first church. He now pastors First Baptist Church in San Angelo, which has more than 3,000 members.

Bumpus was at Pearl for more than 10 years, and will be welcomed home during the celebration.

Following the service, a catered lunch will be served.
