John G. Morin Funeral Mass for John G. Morin, 77, of Lampasas was June 4, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Pedro Castillo officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

Mr. Morin died June 2 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital.

He was born March 27, 1932, in Lampasas, to Pantaleon and Erminia Garcia Morin.

Mr. Morin was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a plumber and had worked for many years with Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 529 at Fort Hood.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include three sons, Pete Morin of Colorado Springs, Colo., Pat Morin of Lampasas and James Morin of Fort Worth; two daughters, Mary Ann Ramirez and Katherine Cartwright, both of Lampasas; one brother, Mike Morin of LaGrange; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny and Christopher, and

by several brothers and sisters.
