J.P. Buice of Waco entered his kerosene-powered 1919 Rumly Oil Pull into the Adamsville Tractor Show. The second annual Tractor Show of Adamsville was chaired by Noah Hartley, who entered his 1945 Farmall "H" tractor, which he rebuilt and restored.
The annual event is sponsored by Adamsville Baptist Church, and youth directors Linda Porter and Jeff Brown helped stage the show as a fund-raiser to enable youths to attend camp during the summer.
Dennis Herbst served as cook, and desserts were donated by members of the Adamsville community.
Musicians Darrell Jones, Wayne Brown and Calvin Clary offered a special program, and church youth managed the kitchen.
A brief parade down FM 581 concluded the fest.
