Lampasas High School seniors Crystal Elder and Chris Poston are the recipients of a $500 and $1,000 scholarship, respectively, given by Capital Ambulance. The seniors are students in the health science class of Kimberly Kuklies, right, and both plan to continue their studies in related fields. Miss Elder, who will attend Texas A&M, will study in the health science field, and Poston, who plans to attend Blinn College, will go into the firefighting and paramedic program. Rhonda Cockrell, public relations representative/paramedic for Capital Ambulance, made the scholarship presentations.
