Mr. Arms

Marvin Arms Marvin Arms Funeral services for Marvin Arms, 65, were April 24, 2009, at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bertram with Daryl Johnston officiating. Burial was at Bear Creek Cemetery with Masons as pallbearers.

Mr. Arms died April 21.

He was born Aug. 26, 1943, in Lampasas, the son of J.D. and Vestine Annie Lynch Arms.

Mr. Arms was in construction for most of his life. He was a member of the VFW, Masons Chapter and Council, Temple Commandary and Eastern Star Chapter.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Theo, of Liberty Hill; a son, Marco Arms and Melinda of San Antonio; four daughters, Mellissa Arms of Stanford, Texas, Connie Durkin of Liberty Hill, Dianne Beeson and Eric of Leander and Kristen Hanalon of North Carolina; 14 brothers and sisters, Bobby Arms, Joyce Heiney, Jim Arms, Charles Arms, Laura Arms, Betty Ackerman, Patsy Dunlap, Donna Daniels, Nancy Lindsay, Wesley Arms, Lloyd Arms, Jannetta Kattner, Mickey Arms and Rosemary Smith; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Arms; a brother, Donald Arms; and a sister, Nelda Foshion.
