Crime Stoppers offers reward for assault info

In the early-morning hours of March 28, a male subject made entry into a Lampasas residence in the area of the 1400 block of West Fourth Street. The Police Department investigation revealed the male subject sexually assaulted a female and stole several Playstation 3 games before leaving the residence.

The suspect is described as an African-American male of dark complexion, 20-25 years old, about 5'8" in height, of medium build and with no facial hair. He was wearing a loose-fitting, darkcolored hooded jacket, a brown leather braided belt and darkcolored jeans.

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspect is asked to call Lampasas County Crime Stoppers at (512) 556- 2769.

Callers do not have to give their name when contacting Crime Stoppers. Instead, a special coded number will be used.

Information will be shared with law enforcement officials, and if it leads to an arrest, the caller will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
