Lometa High School powerlifters competed in a meet at Stephenville for their recent action.

Sonia Sims lifted 465 pounds in the 105-pound class, good enough for a sixth-place showing, while Taner Williams took fourth in the super heavyweight class with total lifts of 1,350 pounds.
