The Lampasas High School Class of 2009, represented by seniors, from left, Stephanie Smith, Karleigh Vann, Cody Singleton, Vanessa Perkins, Chance Vann, Sara Jackson and Heath Hopson, will hold A Night at the Auction and Barbecue Dinner on March 21 at AMVETS Post 80. The dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by the auction at 7 p.m. Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple. Tickets are on sale at local banks, Hodges & Sargent Pharmacy, Cattles Pharmacy or from senior parents and students. This year's graduates opted for a different graduation event, which lowered the cost of the annual celebration. Following commencement, students will load up on charter buses and head to Austin Park and Pizza where the facility will be open only to LHS grads for the all-night event.
