U.S. Highway 281 South accident sends two to Lampasas hospital
      A two-vehicle collision early Friday afternoon near the Hancock Park entrance sent two people to Rollins Brook Community Hospital. The accident occurred at 1:08 p.m. Traffic Officer Dean Werlinger of the Lampasas Police Department gave the following account.

Hanna Springs vandalism forces school's closure
Students re-routed temporarily to other campuses

      Vandalism at Hanna Springs Intermediate School on Sunday forced the closure of the campus Monday and the re-routing of students to two other local campuses.
