Juanita Chamberlain Briggs resident Juanita Lucille Crow Chamberlain died Jan. 10, 2009, at age 88.

Funeral services are Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. at Edgar Funeral Home in Burnet officiated by the Rev. Michael Quist. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Bertram.

Mrs. Chamberlain was born Dec. 13, 1920, in Burnet County, the daughter of John Wesley and Gladys Lucille Houston Crow.

She was reared in Burnet County. For most of her life, Mrs. Chamberlain was a homemaker and helped run the family farm on Rocky Creek with her husband of 60 years, Woodrow Charles Chamberlain.

Mrs. Chamberlain was a 64-year member of Chapel Hill Methodist Church.

She enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing, gardening and cooking.

Survivors include three daughters, Charlene Reavis and husband, David, of Killeen, Cynthia Williams of Austin and Cathy Chamberlain of Briggs; grandchildren, Renee Rice and John Reavis of Killeen, Jessica Haile of Briggs, Amber Morgan of Emory, Calvin Clary of Conroe, Jacob Clary of Lemoore, Calif., and Haley Williams of Gilette, Wyo.; greatgrandchildren, Rachel and Robert Sutton, Kayla, Carley and Bethany Reavis, Sierra, Caleb and Carson Hardin and Maci and Kaylee Mor- gan; a brother, Lyndell (Corky) Crow and wife, Minnie; and sistersin law, Erna Jo Hullum and Norma Crow.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, John Crow Jr. and Boyd Crow; a sister, Iva Lee McCoury; and numerous brothersand sisters-in-law.

The family requested memorials be made to Chapel Hill Methodist Church, in care of Millie Williams, 22520 FM 963, Lampasas, TX 76550, or Mt. Zion Cemetery Association, in care of Karen Lock, P.O. Box 711, Bertram, TX 78605.
