Victor Lee Wolfe, 78, of Lampasas died Jan. 5, 2009, at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple.

Funeral services were Jan. 7 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with Minister Reid Schaub officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Wolfe was born April 6, 1930, in Gorman, the son of Lee Henry and Cecil Floyd House Wolfe.

He moved to Lampasas when he was 12 years old and attended local schools.

Mr. Wolfe married Gail Sweet on Sept. 11, 1953, in Lampasas.

He was a custom home builder in Lampasas for over 45 years.

He is survived by his wife of Lampasas; one daughter, Vicki Key and husband, Charles, of San Saba; one son, Glenn Wolfe and wife, Charla, of New Braunfels; two grandchildren, Whitney Key and Chase Key, both of San Saba; and three sisters, Maxine Connolly of Lampasas, Esther Porter of Austin and Shirley Coyles of Burnet.

Memorials may be made to the National Stroke Foundation.
