Bobbie Hulsey Bobbie D. Hulsey, 66, of Burnet, formerly of Lampasas, died Jan. 5, 2009, at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.

Funeral services are Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Brother Roy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery at Briggs.

Mr. Hulsey was born May 1, 1942, in Lampasas, the son of Alfred D. and Flora Mozelle Bell Hulsey.

He graduated from high school in Lampasas. He married Peggy Stiles on Nov. 16, 1963.

Mr. Hulsey was a heavy equipment operator and a rancher. He had lived in Lake Jackson for a number of years, moved to Briggs and on to Burnet in 2005.

He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife of Burnet; one daughter, Michelle Anson and husband, Anthony, of Bradyville, Tenn.; two sons, John Hulsey and David Hulsey, both of Bradyville; two brothers, Roger Hulsey of Grapeland and Gary Hulsey of Marble Falls; a sister-inlaw, Jane Hulsey of Houston; and two grandchildren, Samantha Laird and Justin Laird.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest Hulsey; and by a daughter, Darla Laird.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
