Sarah Rene White earned a bachelor of arts degree in mass communication with a minor in political science.

She is the daughter of Nancy Harper of Liberty Hill, and Lesley O. White of Killeen.

Miss White is the granddaughter of Dorothy Stutzman and the late Kenny Stutzman of Goshen, Ind., and Elke White and the late Orvil V. White of Kempner.
