      After weeks of preparation and three action-packed nights, the 55th Annual Lometa FFA Junior Rodeo has earned its spot in the history books. The event proved itself a well-run and entertaining venue for area youth and adults alike, according to organizers.

Lometa ISD trustees to meet Monday
      The Board of Trustees of the Lometa Independent School District will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the school library to handle a lengthy agenda. Bids will be considered for the 2008-09 school year for supplies for the cafeteria, maintenance, custodial, instructional and transportation.
