Summer football camp right around the corner
      Football camp for incoming seventh-, eighth- and ninth-graders is scheduled for Aug. 4-6 at Lampasas High School. The camp, which is conducted by the LHS and Lampasas Middle School coaching staffs, will run from 8 a.m. to noon each day.

      With two weeks left in summer volleyball competition, the Lampasas four-on-four team hit a bit of a snag. Coming off strong performances for the past month, the Lady Badgers lost two matches at Copperas Cove, playing in the 50-straightminute match format.
