Mrs. Price

Carlene Mae Fox Price, 81, of Lampasas died July 7, 2008, at her daughter's residence in Ovalo.

Funeral services were July 10 at Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Lampasas with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Price was born Nov. 24, 1926, in Moline, to Ollie Campbell and Ora Lee Cook Fox.

She loved gardening and was awarded "Yard of the Month." She also enjoyed traveling and had been all over the U.S. and Europe. Most recently, she took a cross-country road trip.

Survivors include daughters, Dorinda Barrett, of Austin, and Rae Nelle Allen, of Ovalo; a son, Donnie Price, of Lake Buchanan; a sister, Charlotte Errette, of Ohio; six grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Howard Fox, in 2000.
