Probation given in drug case

Dale Roy Noordam, 33, received 10 years' deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine for possession of a controlled substance. Action came in recent 27th District Court with Judge Joe Carroll presiding.

On a charge of theft of a firearm, Scott Schowalter, 38, of Lampasas was given five years' probation and a $1,000 fine. He also must pay $500 in restitution.

Bond was increased to $10,000, and an arrest warrant was issued for Thomas Aguirre, 51, who failed to show up for court. He is charged with driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.

Bond was lowered to $25,000 for Temple resident Michael Carl Mesecke, 57, for manufacture of a controlled substance.

The state dismissed a motion to adjudicate for Rhonda Lanette Kolanek, 35, of Arlington. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Leona Ruth Garner, 24, faces sentencing today for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver with a deadly weapon.

A revocation hearing is on today's docket for David Valles, 44, for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.

Pretrials are set today for Rozell Dandre Barrow, 34, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and for David Zepeda, 45, for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.

Copperas Cove resident Joseph Howard Farr, 20, is set for a July 18 punishment hearing for evading arrest with a vehicle.

Arraignment for Michael Allen Alderson, 36, charged with driving while intoxicated and felony repetition, is slated July 18.

An adjudication hearing is set July 18 for Heather Dolly Vaughn, 31. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

July 18 pretrials are scheduled for Lampasas resident Edward Allan Cain Jr., 42, for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and for Rudolpho Garza Llanas, 34, for driving while intoxicated with a child passenger.

A pretrial hearing is on the July 25 docket for Benjamin Charles Fitzgerald, 17, of Kempner on a charge of debit card abuse.

An adjudication hearing is set Aug. 15 for Diane Renteria Hernandez, 50, of Lubbock for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine.

Sept. 29 jury trials are slated for Clay Leggett Russell, 26, for possession of a chemical with intent to manufacture; Michael John Minkosky, 36, of Lampasas for evading arrest with a vehicle; Stacey Jan Temple, 42, of Granite Shoals for criminal conspiracy; and Samantha Kair Layne Acker, 38, for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.
