Classics plan participation in Adamsville celebration

Classics at the Classic will meet June 28 and display cars and trucks at Adamsville during the 100th anniversary celebration, and Adamsville Heritage Society has set aside a special area for displaying the classics with room for about 25 vehicles.

Scott Carrigan and Danny Britton will arrange the set-up.

The group is seeking a 1908 vehicle, and anyone wishing to dress in the era of their classic is encouraged to do so. Participants also are encouraged to set up a display from their vehicle's era that would be interesting for visitors, such as old gas signs and other items that don't require a lot of space.

Classics will leave Storm's Drive-In around 7:30 p.m
