      Billie Davis Berry, 80, died June 7, 2008. Graveside services were June 11 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Mrs. Berry was born Jan. 1, 1928, in Lampasas to W.W. (Bill) Davis and Laura Madden Davis. She attended Lampasas High School, and on Dec. 2, 1945, she married E.M. (Sonny) Berry.

Mr. Carsten
      San Saba resident Jacky Carsten died June 8, 2008, in Lampasas. He was 44. Funeral services were June 11 at Howell-Doran Funeral Home in San Saba with the Rev. Tom Brand officiating, assisted by the Rev. George Wheeler. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery.
