A second-grade salute to Texas

Kline Whitis Elementary second-grade music students took part in a wild and wooly afternoon of singing Texas songs and kicking up their heels to traditional music in the cafeteria. Not only did the celebration serve as a salute to the Lone Star State, it also was exciting for the kids because it was the last day of school, denoting the beginning of the summer break.
