Return of fascism?

Donald Baker's May 5 letter to the editor seemingly equates either voting for a Democrat or not wearing a flag pin with committing an act of treason. To me, the tone of his convictions suggests a holier-than-thou, i.e., superior attitude.

Historically, if a group of people feels superior to those who disagree with them, fascism may be on the horizon.

In fact, Sinclair Lewis addressed this subject way back in 1934. He wrote: "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross."
