Mr. Ryan

Jerry Lee Ryan, 72, of Bedias died May 30, 2008, at his residence.

A memorial service was June 14 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.

Mr. Ryan was born Dec. 29, 1935, in Ingram, and had been a resident of Bedias for 15 years, moving there from Medina.

He served in the U.S. Navy and had been a journeyman carpenter.

Mr. Ryan enjoyed fishing, hunting and barbecuing.

Survivors include his wife, Rheba Ryan, of Bedias; sons and daughter-in-law, Ted G. Ryan, of Bedias, and Creighton L. and Jennifer Ryan, of Lovettsville, Va.; daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene E. and Rodney Moon, of Marble, Ark., and Ginger L. and Tom York, of Lampasas; sisters and brother-in-law, Jean Withers, of Lampasas, and Ruby and Dean Cowan, of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
